I’m very excited about the upcoming season and already getting ready with some expansion ……. rings and other silver smithed items will be rolling out. I love my job:) So happy to piece these items together with a torch;)

2017 Fall Show Lineup:
***Millarville Farmers Markets have been sunny and warm for the most part. What a relief as I am stationed outside under my 10×10′ tent all day. One late day thundershower caused a quick flooding of rushing water under our feet, but we were spared the rest of the time with beautiful weather. Once more Millarville Market to go for me: This Saturday Sept 16th from 9:00-2:00. More info about Millarville Markets here
***Etsy Canada Market
Ticket holders only for Sneak A Peak Friday Sept 22nd, 5:00-9:00pm, public admission on Saturday Sept 23rd, 10:00-5:00
Location: Genesis Centre #10, 7555 Falconridge Blvd, NE, Calgary (in the Festival Gymnasium)
This will be an exciting market filled with so many local Etsy vendors, food trucks, workshops….and the best part…. 50% of all proceeds from Saturdays admission fees will be donated to the Women’s Centre of Calgary who’s trust-based work is centered on a philosophy of women helping women.
Tickets via Eventbrite for Friday’s sneak a peak (see link below) & tickets on sale at the door for Saturday’s event ($5, children under 12 are free).
***Bragg Creek Arts Festival – We are bringing the artists out of the wood work and bringing arts back to Bragg Creek. This event will include:
Plein Art Event, Workshops, Professional At Exhibit & Sale. It’s a full weekend of Art & Delicious Food throughout the hamlet.

Location: Many artists will be set up inside the Bragg Creek Community Centre including myself – 23 White Ave, Bragg Creek, AB (just 30 mins west of Calgary)
***Calyx Art Show – Always one of my favourites….this event is packed full of original art works, pottery, ceramics, glass & wood work, jewellery, fibre arts and more. Many artists are ACAD grads and gallery supported artists. All work is made by hand, not assembled, not manufactured. It is handcrafted original work coming from the creative vision of the artist who you will meet on site and the organization of this group is next to none.
Calyx is a 2 day event – each day being a completely different show of 24 artists. I will be showing on the Sunday Oct 22nd only.

Location: Crescent Heights Community Centre, 1101 2 St NW, Calgary
***Millarville Christmas Market – Oh my, so much fun for all family members. Admission is $5 (children 12 & under free)
Nov 9-12th (Thurs 10-5, Fri 10-8, Sat & Sun 10-5)
Activities include: lights, food, hay rides, Santa photos, reindeer, roasted chestnuts, glass blowing demos, carolers, music, live nativity, crafts and a whole list of great vendors.
There will be extra parking and free transport to the event.
***Kananaskis Country Christmas Market at Redwood House
Another great event filled with local handcrafted goodies, crafts and arts. It’s a special event for me, being in my home town area. The market has so many wonderful and original finds, you will not be disappointed. The Bragg Creek Artisans also host their Christmas event on the same weekend just down the road at the Bragg Creek Community Centre, so be sure to check out both when you make the drive out.
