The snow is gone, ski season is over, so time to get back to new spring designs.
My new spring designs will be showcased for their first time at the Calyx Distinctive Art Show on Sunday May 3rd. This fabulous setting is where my cold forged, wire work, metal work only designs are shown. There isn’t a better place to display them for their first viewing. The Calyx Art Show is a bi-annual, high quality arts show where everything is local and hand made. Come meet the artist that fused the glass coaster, the ceramist who formed the porcelain vase, the wood worker who turned wood into a bowl, the jeweler who silver smithed the earrings, the fibre artist who hand dyed the scarf, the painter who used encaustic techniques and so much more. Each day is a completely different show with different artists. Admission and parking are free.

For a sneak peak, I have posted a few of my new Stone Willow items on my FB page, as well, a few photos here.
My “Cleopatra” hammer texture sterling silver stick necklace on subtle sterling silver cable wire. At the back is a section of chain to adjust length. Matching earrings as well as the necklace come in smooth polished finish or hammer texture.
A wide array of colour combinations of interchangeable earring sets on my hand formed kidney shaped ear wires. Oh so many colours from warm earthy tones to bright spring bling in Swarovski Crystals.
I will also be showing my new collection at the Mountain Made Show at Elevation Place (700 Railway Ave) in Canmore, AB on Sat May 16, 2015 from 11:00-4:00. I will be on the 2nd floor level. This show has grown immensely. It is an artisan market for locally grown and made products from the Bow Valley Corridor and beyond. This monthly market has become a destination for many.
https://www.facebook.com/mountainmademarket I am excited to be a part of this show again this spring.
A new earring collection posted here for the first time. I am so excited about these beauties. They can either be purchased as a simple sterling silver earring, with one stone embellishment, or with 2 sets of stones to swap out and change up the look.
Shown here is pyrite and amazonite gemstones.
Black Onyx in the middle, turquoise on the right and bottom left you can see a little of the lemon jade.
I will have a collection of different stones/colours on this casual long necklace made adjustable and with stone dangles at the ends as shown here. Silk cord casually tied in a loose knot will determine how long the necklace is and how long the dangles hang at the back.
The front is a metal worked and hammer textured solid piece of sterling silver with a cluster of genuine gemstones fashioned in a unique way.
The start of a gold collection. Soon to come is solid gold. These are made of 14K gold fill which a fused process to attach the solid gold to other metals to form gold fill. This will NOT wear off like gold plating does over time, but it is more affordable than solid gold.
My simple gold twist & gold wishbone earrings are the first to be created.
I will be set up at the Millarville Farmers Market during a few of their market days this spring, summer, fall. Dates to come…..and already booking into the fall for some great fall shows.
But as always, my Etsy shop and FB page are always open for business if you can’t catch me at my in person shows.
